Classes & Courses

Art Shape Education Programme

September 2009-July 2010

Art Shape designs and delivers a broad education programme that provides opportunities for adults to experience arts activities and develop their skills.

The programme focuses specifically on adults facing disabling barriers to participation in traditional arts learning.

There is something for everyone - from beginners looking for an introduction to the arts - to those with experience of the arts wanting to develop their arts practice, skills and techniques.

Art Shape’s new curriculum of classes and courses for 2009-2010 has retained many of your favourites and we have developed some new classes with an emphasis on progression through the course.

Art Shape works with individuals , communities and organisations to combat exclusion from the arts with a particular focus on working with adults facing disabling barriers. Art Shape is driving social change by informing policy, identifying gaps in arts provision and stimulating the development of new possibilities in the Arts. This provision is funded by the Gloucestershire learning and Skills Council, through Adult Education in Gloucestershire.
