The ‘Carers to Enablers’ research project is funded by LSIS to further identify the need for training for carers and tutors. The training will enable careers and give them the confidence and skills to provide support for the students that will enhance

the learning experience and allow the learners to reach their full learning capabilities. In turn this will support tutors, and improve the quality of teaching and learning. The research project will result in a training package for both the carers and the tutors.
