Art Shape works across Gloucestershire to increase access to creative experiences for those facing barriers to participation. Art Shape researches gaps in the provision of creative opportunities and develops and runs projects that inspire, encourage and promote the creativity of artists and participants

Join artist Alison Cockcroft for engaging sessions delving into various art techniques and materials designed with accessibility in mind. These techniques cater to individuals of all skill levels. Embrace the opportunity to make new acquaintances, indulge in creativity, and engage in enriching conversations within a comfortable setting. Alison brings a wealth of experience in collaborating with individuals who have encountered changes in memory.

Monthly Inclusive workshop sessions at the Art Shape studio. With different workshops each month there is always something new to explore. Arts Inc sessions are a great chance to make friends, bring along your own projects, and explore your creativity. No experience is necessary!

HAF/HAP

We run creative sessions including healthy meals for the Holiday Activities programme funded by the Department of Education for those aged 8 to 17. We also have an accessible studio space which holds an activity day once a month.

Of Course We Can

We work with Active Impact to offer inclusive holiday activities for young people with and without disabilities

Our week-long projects run in partnership with 'Active Impact', a social enterprise based in Gloucestershire tasked by Gloucestershire County Council to provide opportunities for disabled and non-disabled young people to take part in a variety of activities together building confidence, skills and friendships. We have recently run 'Tricks and Treats - Make A Music Video' residential in October 2019.
